Who are you?

I am a Learning Designer at Coventry Unversity Online. I started my career as a secondary French and German teacher then went into the world of IT and became a Web Editor/DesignerDeveloper then found my way back into Education. I am particularly interested in User Experience, Learner/Learning Analytics and Human Centred Design.

Something else more personal about yourself?

I love languages and travelling. I am (slowly) learning Arabic and Bengali.

Something you have learnt recently?

That we can use some of the techniques that are used in the gaming and gambling industries (FOMO, dopamine triggering etc) in Learning Design to increase student engagement but with a good intent 🙂

Something you would like to learn over the next few weeks or months?

I’d like to get more hands on experience of various e-learning tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate and H5P
