Who are you?

Management Support – Office of Teaching and Learning.

Returned to work at the Univeristy 4 Years ago having previously worked in the Business Development Support Office.

First 3 Years spent working with Ian Dunn and Lorraine Gearing to set up a Subsidiary – Better Futures Multi-Academy Trust focusing on Sixth Form Education. When that Project was complete and self sustainable I returned to work for Office of Teaching and Learning providing Management Support for Ian Dunn, Samantha Jacks, Lorraine Gearing, Andrew Turner, Guy Daly, Irene Glendinning, Gurnam Singh, Paul Cashian etc. I also work with the wonderful Ali Bushnell (Student Comms – Mother Moodle and soon to be Aula Ali)

Supporting other teams as OTL grows inc Student Surveys, Graduate Destinations, Widening Participation, Curriculum 2025, Academic Development, Learning Technologists etc. GLaD (Gender Leadership and Diversity), International Womens Day, Athena Swann, Aurora, F-RAPs, AHoS, and work closely with DMLL.

Something else more personal about yourself?

Will be the first person in line when the animals visit the library. I’m also a Foster Carer specialising in sibiling groups and unaccompanied children. Outside of my day job I use my 27 years of Events Management to support events in Coventry inc Stage Management at Godiva Festival each year. Working for the past 2 years with City of Culture Coventry and other community projects.

Something you have learnt recently?

I have developed a wonderful network of contacts through all areas of the Univeristy, which has been very useful to myself and others as we work from home. Saving both time and resource.

Something you would like to learn over the next few weeks or months?

Different forms of Project Management used within the Univeristy and why they are chosen. E-Learning Platforms focusing on Student Engagement and enhanced learning experience.
